Fun fact - the last President's Trophy winning team to even reach the Conference Finals was.......also the Rangers, in 2014-15. They lost. I think they might have what it takes this time though, but I see this as the battle to see who gets served up to the Western Conference winner on platter.

^Yes - the NHL has had a bit of an interesting shift in President's Cup Winners vs Stanley Cup Winners.
Back from 1999-2013... it happened several times (5) where the PC won SC.
From 2016-on... hasn't happened... but those PC winners from a previous season have won SC in a "near future" year.
This bodes pretty well for the Florida Panthers - and even after being upset in the Giroux '22 playoff... they've really been good in '23 and now in '24.
It 'feels'... to me... like it's their year.

I'd say no, or at least not yet, especially with Chytil seemingly ready too. Not only did Wheeler look every bit his age this season, but if you subtract the one time he had 21 points in 17 playoffs games, his career scoring rate for the playoffs is exactly a point per every other game, and that includes when he was in his prime.Originally Posted by PenguinHunter

Chytil will def play, makes them that much more skilled and bolsters PP2. Cuylle played fourth line the one game Filip played against Carolina so I'm betting this is the route Lavvy goes.
