I think it's simply a situation where you're not necessarily in love with the return so don't pull the trigger.
I tossed QB on the trade block yesterday just to shake things up and to see what happens.
Had an offer of QB and Forester for Cozens and Byram.
I’m already at a point where I’m comfortable with my 20 keeps so this doesn’t really help but my real question here is, does BB push Faber out of my keeper list? I’m still not convinced DC is better than QB, I am leaning towards no given QB has dual elig. I was really looking to go bigger game hunting and it’s not all on Byram vs Faber.

when i saw a title i was going to say go for it just because i think Byram is just about to pop but so is QB and adding Forester is probably too much.
I think you have best and worst players in this deal and other GM has middle of the pack...its close, im not sure what i would do. I dont see you wining this deal but i also dont really see you loosing it. Probably fair deal tbh.

Honestly Forrster isn’t a keeper but I know I could swap out for Kakko. Forster will be redraftable.
Does Byram push Faber out? If so I might be more inclined as I’m not 100% sold on em.

After the incredibly stupid ass bonehead move Byram pulled today at the Worlds I'm not sure he can push anyone out (:
Anyway, I've never been as high on QB as most and that hasn't changed. I think Cozens is already the better player and I don't buy QB miraculously turning into the 90 pt roto monster he was projected to be, Cozens IMO is and will continue to be the better own. But, that's me. Bonehead and Forester is pretty much a wash, it really comes down to positional requirement, do you need a D or a F you can sit on and see if they pan out, or not. As you said, you're not needing this trade to make or break your season and I agree with Belexus75, it's likely a wash worst case scenario. However, if you're questioning the return, simply pass, you have all summer to see if you can work a better return.

Nope I wouldn’t make this deal. I do think Byfield can be the 80-90 point power forward and Cozens, though a good player in his own right, doesn’t tip the scales for me. Byram has injury concerns oh and Dahlin and Power to deal with to try and get any PP time. Foerster had a really nice rookie season with 20 goals and I think I’d just stay put if I were you I think Foerster is going to be a pretty good player.
Well, I can't resist, a big wink here to all the hard core QB supporters: QB is at home still trying to figure out Hiller's playbook and how to play in the NHL while Dylan Cozens is at the World Championships representing his country (I think Quinton is Canadian too isn't he??) while leading Team Canada in scoring, sits 5th in tournament scoring with 10 pts in 7 games played tied with bums like Hischier and Fiala and not far behind bigger bums like Johnny Hockey, Boldy and Brady Tkachuk. YEP, Byfield is a better own than Cozens. Not anytime soon if ever (:

It’s like saying guy leading beer league hockey in scoring will be great NHLer… Words mean nothing. If you think Cozens better own good for you, we all have our opinions, but using words as your agument? Lame and not good supporting evidence.

Definitely a lot to like about Cozens and to be fair I’ve seen a lot more of Byfield than Cozens but boy watching Byfield is a treat. Hey maybe you’re right Bubba and Cozens will ultimately be the better own, but personally I don’t think it’s a big gamble to bet on the big guy! I think he really comes into his own next season to the tune of 70+ with good periphs! Those are my thoughts. I still love Cozens I mean how can you not?!

UPDATE
after a relatively short negotiation, i moved QB and Faber out along with 6OA and 11OA for Drysdale and 1OA and 5OA. This move allows me to keeper both JQuinn and Perf (one of which was gonna be a drop) and take Celebrini at 1OA.
