'Poker Face' finally came to Canada (legal streaming at least) and ended up on CBC Gem of all places. It's a great looking show and I'm quite fond of the 'case of the week' type show that has largely gone out of style. I'm enjoying it so far
The Gentlemen - Guy Ritchie made a Netflix show in a similar vein as his movie by the same title. If you dig Guy Ritchie movies, you'll dig this. I'm hooked.
3 Body Problem - On Netflix - The guys who made Game of Thrones made another show, this time based on a series of Sci-Fi books and this time the books are complete so they don't need to invent new plot. There's some HEAVY physics in the source material, but they dumb it down for the show or yadda yadda a lot of it. Lots of familiar faces from Thrones, but lots of great performances from new actors as well. This isn't the new Thrones, it's more like the new LOST. Some weird plot questions/holes, but an engaging plot overall, and just fantastic character writing and acting that keeps you coming back to a Sci-Fi story. The first season is 8 episodes and fully available on Netflix. One could plow through it in an Easter weekend and not be dissatisfied.
Shogun.

All-in on 3 Body Problem and Shogun. I had read the 3 Body trilogy and it was interesting to me how they took elements from each of the three books and put them into this first season. Dying to know how they will render what is probably unfilmable.
It's not something I get to do very often these days but I wasn't feeling the greatest yesterday and my wife took the kids out of the house so I binged a chunk of Fallout on Amazon.
I really liked it. The show has built a neat alternate-timeline world and everything from the action, to sets, costumes, and performances are just the right amount of over-the-top. I'm looking forward to finishing the season and hope it continues.

Watched ep 1 so far and I'm sold. I was also really into the game so just to see that they've done a video game justice makes me happy.
Been watching a few new ones:
Tokyo Vice - freaking awesome. Imagine Miami Vice but in Tokyo and way more modern. It's about the Yakuza. They just wrapped up season 2 and I'm hooked. I've heard the American actors don't actually speak Japanese and the Japanese actors don't speak English (they are just saying the lines phonetically) which is super impressive. 9/10
Been watching Ripley on Netflix (same Ripley as as the Talented Mr Ripley movie). It's pretty solid, great acting and fantastic story for those who haven't seen the movie. It's in black and white incase that's a problem for you. 7.5/10
ok, I'm going to check out Fallout and Tokyo Vice based on these comments...
I agree with others and highly recommend 3 Body Problem. Science fiction is my #1 genre, so I am totally biased...but it is really, really good. Without a doubt it is my favorite show on TV right now.
I also enjoyed The Gentlemen. Earlier I listed a bunch of shows I've watched lately, but I didn't rank/score them so I'm going to do that now, FWIW.
3 Body Problem - 10/10
Blue Eye Samurai - 8.5/10
Mr and Mrs Smith - 8/10
Justified City Primeval - 7.5/10
Shogun - 7/10
House of the Dragon - 7/10
The Gentlemen - 6.5/10
