Trade Help - Newer to Dynasty/Cap Leagues

New to a running league and being offered some trades. Looking for help as I'm newer to dynasty and caring about cap/age/future stuff!
I am currently mostly in a repair/rebuild-ish phase as the team is 1-9 and I adopted at 1-8. Was left unmanaged with illegal rosters for a bit.

Either of these worth going for, or possibly close but just need a slight shift on either side?

For me, Hard no for #1, but #2 is definitely interesting given your current D core. I would see if you could give up a 3rd instead, than maybe settle on a 2nd, but Stank is unreal but I have a feeling he won't be a top 5 player in his position which Fox is and he's only 25.

No to trade 1, yes to trade 2 assuming your are not picking 1st overall. If you have the 1st overall pick then I am less excited about trade 2 and would probably pull back on that one too.

I broke the first trade down in terms of $/Fantasy points over the last 3 yrs.
Trade 1:
Fiala (185gp) - $21,928.87/FPTs
Werenski (115gp) - $29,217.48/FPTS

Tavares (194gp) - $22,892.67/FPTs
Stamkos (198gp) - $18,407.52/FPTs

So I do think it's actually closer than initially thought. But it's still a no for me. Werenski is very good, but right now he hasn't shown to me that he can be leaned on for a full season in fantasy. Fiala is a very strong asset in fantasy and I think goes a little under valued across the board. If you get the right prospects back, I can see this trade being something that can work out, but right now it's a no.

Trade 2:
Fox (186gp) - $29,825.30/FPTs

For comparison sake, here's a few of the D out there's numbers:
Makar (170gp) - $20,470.14/FPTs
Josi (185gp) - $20,468.69/FPTs
M.Rielly (182gp) - $23,039.92/FPTs
Heiskanen (185gp) - $27,509.41/FPTs

I like Fox, and I think he should be a guy you go for, but he doesn't hit, which is killing his point production in your league. I would still do that trade, but I would also explore seeing if you can flip him for something better.

Trade 2 - Where are you in the standings? I like Fox a lot, but is it the right move for you, given your current team?

Likely this is a top5 pick in the upcoming draft?

I'd almost rather keep my assets and look to obtain players with Fox-like upside, but not there yet (Hutson, Poirier)
