Terry vs Horvat

Hey guys,

I claimed Horvat last week after larkin injury. Now that larkin is healty and up to go tonight i need to drop either Horvat or Troy Terry to make room for him.

Which one should I drop ?

I know Horvat is on a go, but terry seem to be back on track on his last few games.

I leaning for Horvat but just want to get your take on this one !

Do positions matter in your setup?
Beyond goals, assists. Do PPP or PPG matter and what other cats are tracking?
Who else is on your roster?

At first glance without anymore info. No I don't drop Horvat for Terry. Horvat is over a pt per game. On pace for 33 goals and 84 pts.
I get playing with salary requires little more juggling at points. But I would not be looking to drop 1.03Pt per game player for a 0.60 pt per game player.

PPP PPG doesnt matter. it's 1 pt for a goal, 1 pt for an assist only

I have 4m free at the moment so i cant really drop anyone else other than : McCann, Terry, Giroux, Tkachuk, Fiala

Only other option I see is McCann.
McCann is on pace for 51pts vs Terry at 49pts.

So you need to look deeper at each player and who you think will be best for you going forward in relation to their cap hit.

Yeah, i see them pretty equal. both on low tier team, both on the pp1 and L1. but McCann is 5m for many years and terry is 7m. Hard to predict which will end up being more productive later on

Terry might have the higher upside but bigger cost.

I think McCann might be the saver bet and the more consistent player to get you mid 60's into the 70's for pts year to year.

I'd probably lean on dropping McCann. Definitely would love to have Horvat and/or keep him if already added.

Definitely would want to keep Horvat. Terry would go, or McCann if it were me.
