I would drop Husso.
Top of my list is Lindgren or Wolf
Should I wait and be patient or move on from Husso? My team is in my signature and currently rolling with 3 Goalies (Saros, Levi and Husso). The available FA goalies are:

I agree you can drop Husso. I think he is quickly losing the net to Lyon. I also agree with the above poster that Wolf would be the #1 choice followed by Charlie Lindgren who is outplaying Kuemper.
I completely disagree with all of this. Follow the contracts man. Lyon is a career back up journeyman who has never started more than 14 games in a season. Ever. He’s not taking over the net. It’s a small sample size and you’re over reacting. I’d be much less interested in keeping Levi. Same with Lindgren. He’s not deposing Kuemper. That’s more of a timeshare at best. And last I checked Dustin Wolf plays for Calgary. And they suck. He’s just a kid and will be back in the AHL when Markstrom is ok.

At the moment: Detroit/Washington similar records and over .500, with Buffalo/Calgary similar records and below .500.
I'd be willing to dump either Husso or Levi for Wolf.
Here's the key thing for me. Wolf is the future guy in Calgary, and has an opportunity right now to take that crease, or at least depose the backup. Levi and Husso are both splitting time. Calgary has had problems in net.
Husso has a contract, but has been good one whole year in the NHL so far. He is an Yzerman signing, so he'll get rope, but at some point, they need to play they best guy. We have seen Lyon take over a starters gig out of nowhere as recently as last year. Reimer has also been better than Husso.
Levi has the issue of Ukko-Pekka-Luukkonen ahead of him right now, who is only 24, and playing very well. I think they will likely split that crease, as Comrie hasn't worked out well enough.

With 8 keepers the only potential goalie keeper here is Saros thus making all these decisions for this year only. Wolf is a terrible idea. I think I’m keeping Husso here.

I agree with you 100% that Saros is the goalie keeper and Wolf stands no chance to make the OP keepers. My question though come the trade deadline which player would you like to have as a trading piece to upgrade either your draft picks or in a larger trade upgrade your keepers? Would you rather have Husso for that or Wolf? I would much rather have Wolf and he already has Levi as well for that such thing.
Thanks for all the replies and feedback. The different views is why I asked the question. My worry is that Husso has given up fewer than 3 goals only once in the last 11 games. As my counting stats are W / GAA and SV%, one really bad start blows up my week. I need 3 starts per weeks and Saros typically gets at least 2. All of your comments leave me thinking about what the best approach is.
I am liking the option/hop of picking of Wolf and trading him to a team out of the playoffs near the trade dead line...

The trade value of young goalies is quite subjective and down to the knowledge and abilities of the other GMs in your league. You will certainly know what’s best there.

I'd drop Husso - I don't think he's a fit for Detroit.
Yzerman doesn't hand out goalie contracts more than 3 years because he knows they're voodoo.
A couple things I preach on goalies:
1. They often play very well as the back-up... there's no pressure there, they're the back-up.
2. Be wary when they change locations. Most do worse - they're playing behind a completely new set of defensemen in front of them. That's hard to adjust to. Good transitions (like Georgiev to COL) are the exception.
3. Once an annointed goalie's confidence is shattered towards the end of his contract... it's often dooming. The pressure builds on needing to play well to secure that future paycheck.
Nope, unh-unh on Husso.
He's been playing garbage and he knows it.
Let him go.
Ok. So who on his list of options is better than Husso?

I'd say based on recent performance, Lindgren is a much better option. To the OP, I drafted Husso and dropped on Monday. Another factor to note with Ville is he's the father to a newborn and that's been proven to hamper player production. Caught in a crease love triangle in Detroit, I suggest you move on.
I agree Husso is horrible for now but I would not drop him for any of the mentionned goalies as I don’t think they have any value.
