Meier or Svechnikov

In a keeper banger league who would you want more…a currently injured Svechnikov or Meier?

I would probably take the injured but thus far more effectual Svechnikov. Meier has picked up where left off last year with underwhelming everyone thus far. Would be nice to have more information about roster and league settings though. But in a vacuum, I go with Svechnikov.

Meier.

I fear Svech is going to return to form slowly.

I think Meier is a 65pt, 150-160hits winger.
I think Svech is a 70pt, 170-180hits winger.

I think both are pretty similar, but Svech can produce a bit more, but his return from an ACL injury might just pull him back enough.

I also think Meier has a higher ceiling. He's either playing with Hughes or Hischier. Svech is playing with either Aho or Kotkaniemi when he returns. I rather gamble on Hughes and Hischier than Aho and Kotk.

im starting to be bit worried about Meier but not worried enough...Meier is still BT light to me ...it could change but for now thats where i have him

Good points…I would have said Meier but something seems off with him in Jersey.

I’ve had previous discussions over the last few years about comparing theses 2 players. I like them both in multicat. It is close but I have picked Svech every time it’s come up and I’ll stick with that choice.

Svech. I believe last year he was starting to show signs of a serious breakout and I think Brind'amour is starting to realize he needs to lean on him more offensively if their going to take that next step and win a cup. It was glaring how much he was missed in last years playoffs.

I like Meir still but I think he will be settling in as just another cog in the system. He's not the main piece anymore which will limit his potential.
