Big Offer for my Pastrnak
League in my signature. I'm currently in 5th (top 8 make the playoffs) and a good bet to get into the playoffs but a darkhorse to win the championship. I've also been hit with a bunch of injuries to key players as of late (Hughes, Makar, Barkov, Thomas).
I've just been offered Konecny and Laine for my Pastrnak and a 2025 2nd round pick which is likely to be in the 17th to 20th range.
It strikes me as good value but I'm always loathe to give up the best player in a trade. What do you all think?

I won’t lie I don’t get too excited about this offer. I know Konecny is having a bomb of a season but I don’t know what to make of Laine as he’s oft injured I know when he plays he’s pretty darn good. I personally think if I owned Pastrnak I’d want more for him he’s a legit stud. I’d pass I think.

Its bad- given time it could oan out well- I've got high hopes for laine but there's just no reason to give up pastrnak for that. If you're going for youth pasta has lots of time left. You hit the nail on the head- pasta the bpa by a wide margin. In a new draft he went 2nd round where I got laine in the 10th. Its a huge drop-off and you only add konecny??? Hard pass..

You call this big offer? its a joke of an offer...walk away , i would not even counter if this was proposed to me...cant believe the other GM added a pick there to Pasta...

I see no salary implications, and therefore I think it's reasonable.
It's Pastrnak & a plug you drop for 2 legit top 12 guys, and you're contending with a lot of injuries. Do I love it? No, but I'd consider it, depends on how the guys you get back score in your system.

I'd pass, especially since goals are worth more than assists. Pastrnak is one of the best goal scorers in the league and as you point out, the BP in the deal. Laine is way too inconsistent and Konecny is a good player having a career year on a terrible team (that won't be good for several years). Ride it out. Barkov and Thomas are back soon and Hughes will be back for the playoffs. Even if you slide to 6th or 7th, if you're the dark horse you think you are it's better to go through that bracket than give up one of the best players in your format.

I would hold for all the reasons above. Its a sell high on Konecny and I just dont have the same faith in Laine that I did a few years ago.

That might be an ok offer for Svechnikov, but is weak for Pastrnak.
I left my previous fantasy hockey league. So just some guy who likes and plays hockey.

Not even close. Huge pass. The additional pick you’d give up makes it laughable actually.
