Default Young buy low candidates for dynasty/keeper

Who are some young players that have already shown something really promising at the NHL level but have since disappointed?

    Example:

Timo Meier scored 69 pt pace in his age 22 season then followed it up with 57 and 47 pt pace in his age 23 and 24 seasons.

If someone was trying to trade for him, that would have been the optimal time.

This year I can think of Seider. Any others?

I believe the buy low window for Seider is closed as he has been playing better lately and a lot of players struggle in their second season. But it’s worth a shot! Another player you might be able to buy low on is Svechnikov, I’m sure some owners are getting frustrated he hasn’t lived up to the hype yet.

None of these guys, save perhaps Byram, fit the question because they haven’t yet shown promising results.

Byram is different, he’s been great but injuries have wrecked him so far.

But they do fit the Title, they are young and can possibly buy low on them due to slow starts or injury concerns.

Side note: Bertuzzi was just dropped in my keeper league in sig.
Thinking about putting a claim on him…

Back to the point but my example just illustrates how low Bert’s perceived value is due to his injury plagued year+

Bjorkstrand is a good example too but i think he’s more middle-pack now. Lundell is shaping up to be a great 2-way player but I fear that could potentially hurt his fantasy output in certain leagues; time will tell but love this trio of names.

I would add Hart, Demko, Werenski, Caufield (he’s big but he’s gonna ppg big so might as well get him now), Lafrenière and Bouchard to name a few.

    Jarvis!

    Bertuzzi?

Lindholm is older but he's better than this.

Laine!! Once he outs the Xbox controller down he'll be a legend lol!

I think Rossi did that minus the nhl production. But he went from absolutely cant miss mackinnon upside phenom to a guy struggling to hit a ppg in the ahl. I worry about his sogs myself but his pure points upside is still ridiculous...

Quinn went from ahl rookie all star to very good production in the first quarter- down to nothing the rest of this season. I think right now he looks like just another "maybe hes a guy" guy right now but is probably a lot better than that.

Not the same but werenski and Drysdale are good buy lows for injury reasons and being on the cusp of something bigger.
