Kovalev for Osgood?

In a 1year, roto league.

I\'ve been offered two trades;

Trade A:

I give Kovalev and get back Osgood (or Conks)

Trade B:

I give Kovalev and Anderson (FLA) and get Cam Ward

Thoughts? I like both of these trades myself, maybe a bit more with osgood since i\'ll get the wins. But he\'s in a bit of a platoon situation, whereas Ward is the #1 in Carolina.

I think it\'s a bit of a risky proposition going for Osgood. He\'ll get you wins, but he\'s also 36 i think and has already had groin problems this year, let alone probably splitting his duties with Conklin. Conklin on the other hand will have to play well to keep the starts at 50/50 in my opinion.


I like the Cam Ward trade personally better then the other trade. But still, you are giving up Kovalev who could heat up at any time. It\'s a risk, but if you\'re hurting for some goaltending I think i\'d do it.

Edit: Also, Anderson is a bit of a risk. I\'m not sure how it\'s going to play out in Florida, but I don\'t see him starting alot of games from here on out unless Vokoun starts to smell it up.
