Well everyone take note - Josh Norris will not make it back to my my pick at 9.11.

I contemplated taking him at 8.4 but in the honour of the mock, I decided to wait and see if he could make it back to me.

I am expecting a good season from him this year.. 70 points - 100 hits - 225 shots.

It’s interesting I had Norris Pavelski and Kopitar lined up at my pick - went with Kopitar mainly given certainty of role (incl PP) and relative durability over the years. But I would have been happy with any of those 3.

No need to be sorry... I am just all in on Norris this year, and in a mock draft I wanted to see how early I had to take him.

I got Norris for 63 pts in 75 games (including 28 PPs) and I feel that's a little conservative. He was definitely on my radar for my next pick.

Zegras and Raymond should both be close to 70 pts this year (and potentially, maybe even more). The peripherals aren't great but that potential is enticing.

We'll see. They should improve but will they surpass veteran forwards like [Censored]? I'm not sure. They all come with risks at this point. In the end I went with the more entertaining pick, and the -30 or so from last season should improve a good deal.

Normally in a draft here we don’t point out players who have not been drafted yet. If I’ve got one of these guys cued up and now someone grabs him it’s quite frustrating.

I suppose. I would've guessed all these, relatively obvious high ranking players, among several others, already are on people's lists, but I'll refrain from pointing out currently undrafted players. I could see it being annoying to see anyone go just before your turn. In my defense, I'm selecting in a few turns again. I doubt people will pick a player due to me mentioning them
