I agree that n the two with Steve, but to me 3 rd is easy… Holtz

If you think you'll compete a bit next yr Kerfoot makes more sense than some of the guys. You could flip Kerfoot for a pick too if that's your plan.

But I think Hotlz should be kept, Peterson makes sense, the 3rd is a coin toss and you'd need to get lucky to get it right. Perfetti, Durzi, Romanov, Pulj could all be kept and no one would say you made a wrong decision.

Maybe I'm missing something here but I'm not keeping a Tier 3 goalie with not great numbers in a 12 team league when I have three 1st round picks to very likely scoop up a better option in net than Petersen. I'm also not doing this when I have a load of high end prospects as alternative keeper options when I'm rebuilding. The choices are indeed tough, I agree with Perfetti and Holtz then you have a multitude of other options: Sillinger, Tomasino, Kempe, Zadina, Comtois, Puljujarvi, Wahlstrom, Kaliyev, Durzi and Romanov, an argument could be made for any of these guys to be your last keeper.

I'll add as a footnote that my distaste for goalies is well known, but I am certainly not alone in that. Take a look at what has happened this years, the "untouchables" like Hellbucyk and Vasi are hurting their owners and the list goes on and on and on. Lehner is really helping me out big time this year! You might be surprised at what's available at the draft table as some GM's will be so frustrated with their goalie that some very nice options could well be cut loose. And I don't blame them (:

It's more about ease of re-draft for me with Peterson.

Peterson will go before Tomasino pretty easily and by a few rounds. SO you can keep Peterson and redraft Tomasino in the 2nd round, or keep Tomasino and draft a goalie in the 1st round. I rather keep the guy whos going to be drafted sooner, than over-draft Tomasino.

Or trade value. Tomasino for Peterson would likely be accepted if he can't draft Tomasino+ really. I doubt Peterson would be part of his future, so I'm planning to move him if I can.

Perfetti will also likely get a larger role next yr as it sounds like Winnipeg wants to move on from Scheifele. So it's a no brainer I think he's a keeper if/when Scheif gets moved.
