i preferred Fiala for long time..im not so sure anymore...i think they are very close and Vrana will get top minutes

I'm picking Fiala until Vrana puts up a full season of 70+ points and major shot totals. Fiala has been performing at that pace for longer and I would trust that more, especially given Vrana is coming off of shoulder surgery.

A fully healthy Vrana should outpoint Fiala. Everything in Detroit should go through him. Will be interesting to see him play a full season.

I'm leaning this way myself. That said, we are forced to project with Vrana as we have not seen what he can actually do over a full season with prime deployment both 5v5 and PP. We have however seen some very enticing glimpses of what might be. Fiala on the other hand is a more known commodity, the data is there. Over the last 3 years he is consistently averaging about .85 pts per game. Not bad. If he could start stronger he could be a ppg player, but his slow starts are concerning and could hold him back. If I'm betting on which of these two will be ppg player I'm inclined to take my chances with Vrana. Fiala is however, the safe bet. Fiala for me. Vrana could definitely be the guy that puts up 70 every year but we just don’t know it yet. I want that guaranteed production from Fiala.

Fiala for me. Were not sure what Vrana is yet, Fiala we know and we also know there is untapped upside/potential with him too.
