I, like most, am dealing with a ton of injuries.

Carter 2m

For

Monahan 6.25m
Vladar 750k

Thoughts?

It'd be really helpful to get a bit more league info (tough to rank how valuable Vladar might be with 14 teams).

Still though - longer-term, I prefer the Mono/Vladar side to the other.

I mean in my original post I tossed in that it's a 14team league with 25 main roster/40 minors (so 65 players each team). There are 0 goalies available on the WW.. everyone is owned.

Fair enough - I guess by "league info" what I was really asking for was more context (I did see the 'size' of the league)

Lots of leagues that size have limits on goalies, or games played/week, etc., to ensure there's guys available on the wire. Or maybe you have too many goalies and want to stream a skater? Or trying to rid yourself of Mono's cap hit?

Was asking for that context because I couldn't deduce why you were entertaining this if indeed goalies are so valuable (especially at Vladar's cap hit).

Like if the perceived value of a backup with a tiny cap hit on a decent team can only net you a Hoffman-level guy... then maybe this deal is worth it in your circumstance.

But without any of that additional context to sway things - it's a hard pass for me.

I'd pass on this. It sounds like your league, like many, consider goaltending a priority and goalies are over valued and at the same time almost impossible to acquire. I'd hold Vladar and see what happens, he could turn into a considerably more valuable fantasy asset than he is now. The return is going sideways at best IMO.
