Varlamov Injury

Hi does anyone have any news re. what's going on with Varlamov. Ive read he hasn't started skating yet but can't find out any more.

The last I read was Varly has "a nagging injury that raises doubts about his availability for Opening Night," according to Barry Trotz.
This is why owning both NYI Gs is mandatory. You can practically hand them the Jennings every year. If your roster allows you to have both guys its really worth doing.
Bummer for Varly if this lingers. But Sorokin is destined to take over at some point.

Sucks, was about to pull trigger on Jarry and Konency for Varly and Hertl. Really hard to do that if his status is unknown.

trotz said its nothing serious but they wanted to stay ahead of it .

in very deep leagues , Schneider might not be a bad idea as a temp handcuff for Sorokin / Varly owners
