So really this is Guentzel and Nurse for PKane and Pietranglo. PKane is a RW only I am assuming? Same for Pastrnak and Rantanen??
I think I could get this trade done:
Guentzel + Nurse for Patrick Kane
NOTE: Mostly curious about how folks feel about filling up all 3 RW spots with pure RWers before the draft. I am wondering if the upgrade from Guentzel to Kane is worth the downgrade from Nurse to Pietrangelo and the loss of positional flexibility

Yes you got it right, that is the swap effectively. And PKane is only RW as are Pastrnak and Rantanen. Guentzel is RW/LW eligible. With his shots and PIMS Nurse was a top 3 D in our league last year, so it's a bit of a dropoff.

How much of a drop down was Pietrangelo from Nurse? Is this a straight points league or is this a H2H league?

I'd pass on that, as I hate having no positional flexibility, but you may feel differently. Any chance Pietrangelo & Guentzel gets it done?

Straight up points league. Each category has points allotted to it (see signature). Nurse was 3.85 fppg last season to Pietrangelo's 3.37. For reference, makar was the best D last season with 4.22 Fppg. And I don't think Pietrangelo gets it done but I might try it and see if it happens.

It's close but I think I'd hold as well. No doubt Kane is the best player here but the difference looking at the points in your setup isn't enough to make me want to lose both Guentzel and Nurse for PKane, then you add in the fact you're loaded on the right side makes me take a pass here. As I say, it's close, but I am not sure this is enough of a win to make it.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated, I think your last comment is basically what I have been feeling, but PKane is just tempting. I think I will hold though. Decent keepers going into next year and three picks in the first two rounds of the redraft. Thanks, rep given.

I think I would make that deal.
Nurse is not going to score 16 goals again this season. His scoring average per game overall will almost assuredly take a hit. His metrics were simply overly inflated last year. Lots of good bounces. Of course if something happens to Barrie... But that can be said of Pietrangelo with Theodore too.
Pietrangelo on the other hand had a down season. First year in Las Vegas. Just getting his sea legs. Look at Alex's numbers the season before... I think the two will finish very similar in scoring for your league this year, in fact Pietrangelo may turn out to be the more valuable player.
So then it just becomes Kane vs Guentzel. Yes Guentzel has the LW/RW eligibility which is nice, but what were their respective ppg in your your league the last few seasons? I imagine Kane's ppg was quite a bit higher?
That is what I would base this decision on. Chicago has made some big moves this season and they are all in with their diminishing championship window which = lots of ice time for PattyK. Plus Kane is going to be getting an actual PP quarterback this season, which certainly won't hurt his numbers. Won't hurt them a bit.
So I would go against the consensus and take this deal.
But hey, that is just my 2 sense.

I agree that Nurse is unlikely to replicate his scoring from last year, but his peripherals make his floor tantalizingly high. As for Kane vs Guentzel, Guentzal was actually quite close with 4.31 fppg vs kane's 4.44. But in previous years Kane has been elite in our league. I am going to think on it some more but I do appreciate the diversity of opinions and thanks for the well thought out responses everyone
