promising. ive said this in other threads but if hes stuck on the top line as a winger and PP1, hes talented enough to rack up 12 pts in 12 games or however many games are left.
Tyler Seguin Update: Seguin has begun skating on his own in Frisco. Stars hope he will join the Taxi Squad in 2 weeks if there are no setbacks. Still on track to return sometime in mid-April. With injuries of this type, no firm date is targeted, hoping for no regression in rehab.

Tyler Seguin is getting closer.
Seguin returned to Frisco and began skating, Stars coach Rick Bowness said, but remains far from returning to game action. Seguin was rehabbing his hip in Ontario after having offseason surgery to repair a torn labrum in November.
“He’s been back a week to 10 days now,” Bowness said. “He skated with the guys for a little bit yesterday, so he is around. With COVID restrictions, he can’t be around all the time, but he is back here and he is skating.
“He’s back on the ice doing light work, doing some shooting. That’s all he’s capable of doing now, so he’s still a long ways away from playing.”
Seguin could be on track to return to games in mid-April.

Sounds like he'll be skating with the taxi squad on Saturday so right on track timeline wise.
Dallas has a 5-game homestand from April 12th to April 20th so hopefully he comes back in during this time as the last 2 games of the homestand and the first 2 games of the road trip are all against....Detroit.

I read this about Bishop, but likely applies to Seguin too. But it says there is no scheduled 30min practice for Dallas's NHL roster for the rest of the season?

Seguin, Bishop and Radulov are all apparently scheduled to skate with the Taxi squad this weekend. Could make the playoff race with Nashville a little tighter down the stretch. I own all three of these guys between my leagues and would love the boost for the stretch run/H2H playoffs.
Without me, it's only "aweso".

Still 2 weeks away. Be careful if you plan on activating for your playoffs.

Tyler Seguin (hip) is two weeks away from being ready to return, according to Stars GM Jim Nill.
Advice: Seguin will start skating with the taxi squad on Tuesday. He hasn't played yet this season after he underwent right hip arthroscopy and labral repair on November 2.
wouldnt shock me if he came back a bit before 2 weeks since they are in the playoff hunt but yeah definitely longer than i was expecting regardless.

This guy is back tonight

He just posted a cool video on Instagram about his surgery and recovery. Glad to see him back.
