    Default Roster Check-in

Trying to claw my way back into a playoff spot with the team in sig and wondering which of these FAs maybe worth adding over my current guys.

The players at the end of my bench right and I consider droppable are:
Sorokin (G2, streaming while waiting for Mrazek)
Gourde (C/L/R, streaming for 5 games this week)
    Schmaltz (C/RW, ARI can't score)
    Atkinson (RW, streaky, line juggling)
    Fiala (LW/RW, back-seat deployment)
Hakanpaa (D, streamer but has helped me win HITS since adding)

    Available FAs:
    Buchnevich (RW)
    Stastny (C/LW)
    B. Nelson (C)
    Bjorkstrand (LW/RW)
    Burakovsky (LW/RW)
Hall (LW, imminent trade? Maybe to NYI?)

    Karlsson (D, good PP deployment?)
Morrissey (D, PP1, streaky but some HITS)
Hronek (D, PP1, hot lately, terrible +/- but I lose that anyway)
Andersson (D, ice cold, but maybe still on PP1?)
    Spurgeon (D, positive regression coming?)

Looking to make some trades but there tough to come by in this league, would likely have to offer some big guns like Patches, Ovi, Marchand to get anything done. Any 1:1 add/drops worth making in the meantime?

    D: Josi, Theodore, Sergachev, Dahlin

I'd drop Schmaltz for Buch right now.

Nelson or Buch over Schmaltz. I know you have Hakan for periphs but IMO Hronek should be owned, that boy is gouda.

Thanks guys, Buch & Hronek were near to top of my watchlist and I'm kind of kicking myself for not having added them already. Made the swaps of Schmaltz/Hakanpaa so we'll see how it shakes out.

Hopefully the hot streaks continue, and both also have 4 games next week which is a plus.

At the end of the week I'll probably be looking to cut Gourde and/or Sorokin for another streamer off that list.

I'd take a chance on Hall getting traded. Gourde is not worth rostering IMO

Agreed on Gourde, I just wanted a piece of the 5 game week for TB, but the results have been underwhelming after 2 so far.

I'd likely have already added Hall if I didnt already have 3 pure LW. Pretty surprised he's still sitting out there now though.

Schmaltz/Gourde for Buchnevich/Hall - although the latter may not be available much longer so act quickly.

His imminent trade is well worth the add alone ...anyone getting out of BUF will do better let alone an all world talent like him.

I’d also drop schmaltz and probably Atkinson at this point, and I’d definitely grab Buch, but I think Hall is a bad idea for you. To be clear, I think Hall could end up being a good investment (I have him now for this reason), but you’re saying you’re trying to claw yourself into a playoff spot. That situation doesn’t lend itself to a roll of the dice, you need players who are performing now. Right now that would probably be Bjorkstrand or Burakovsky. Neither are a sure thing, but they’re both currently producing well. I might lean Burakovsky over Bjorkstrand just because Columbus is such a mess and you never know when Bjorkstrand will suddenly be 3rd line with 10 minutes a game for no reason. Burakovsky is consistently going to get second line minutes on a good team with upside for top line/ top PP.
