Acquire Rust or Buchnevich?
Hi,
I'm actually 3rd on my keeper and I want to make a push for the 2nd place (the 1st will be very hard to get), so I'm looking to acquire a good player with reasonable salary to fill my roster.
I have 2 offers
1) Rust vs Gunler, 2nd and 5th
2) Buchnevich vs Gunler and 4th
It's funny that the 2 other GM wants Gunler.
2 weeks ago, I would have taken Buch without hesitation, but now, I'm less sure. Rust seems to maintain his PPG rate, but he is 3 years older and produce with Crosby/Malkin. His metrics are not off chart and at 28, he's not that old, so we can hope he maintain, let's say 0.9PPG?? Buch is younger, full of promises, but do he will get that level?
The other point is that Rust is signed for 2 years and Buch only 1.
Im leaning towards Rust but.....
So... Rust or Buch??

I think a lot of it depends on the value of that 2nd round pick in your league. But assuming it's not huge I take the Rust deal here.

It's a 10 teams keeper so we talk of a pick probably between 17 and 19. Last year I got Kubalik with my 2nd.
