He has been brutal. I have him too. Although I\'m not ready to give up on him (mainly because there aren\'t any better options on waivers). Last year, he had 15 points at this point in the season (then he went off). Let\'s hope he\'s a second half stud.

only 15 at this point last year is a little reassuring - but he had to get traded to wake up then.....what will it take now?

It was only on TV, but when I saw him play against Philly in the comeback win for the Flyers, I was very impressed with how Corvo played. I went to the game on Black Friday between the Canes and Flyers and wasn\'t impressed.
I think the coaching change is going to impact him. The Carolina announcers were saying Maurice told him to shoot more and this should definitely create more chances for points. I don\'t think he is the potential 50 point defenseman we thought of, but if he gets to 37-40 points, a lot of teams will see a boost if he can get on that pace.

Carolina is a total bust so far.
As long as he shoots... and there is someone out there to finish off the rebounds... he\'ll get his points later on.
so, his fantasy value is with his PPtime and the output of Staal, Williams and Brindamour

He still has a great slapshot, but I don\'t see him repeating what he did last season. That is a lot to hope for at this point. I\'d understand if Phaneuf or Lidstrom were struggling like this, I would probably hold on to them all season long in hopes they snap out of the slump, but Corvo isn\'t elite in my mind. Honestly if better options are in the FA,just take them. Personally I am only holding onto him because Ryan Whitney is supposed to come off IR this week, so bye bye Corvo.
