Connor for BTkachuk & McAvoy

League settings below. Points only. Draft goes off on Sunday and finishing my drops and maybe a final trade or two.

I have a potential offer to send BTkachuk and McAvoy over and get Kyle Connor in return. Really want to accept but am clutching a little for some reason. Probably because I've been building for years and feel in the next 1 or 2 years I'll be able compete. Does this slow me down or speed me up?

Thoughts before I make a final choice?

No SOG or hits really diminishes Tkachucks value so ya, I'd do that deal.

Easy accept in my opinion. Brady's got killer value with SOG/HIT/PIM leagues but points only is just ok. Kyle Connor has a good chance to crush the scoring in your league.

Generally speaking in a 2-for-1 the team getting the 1 makes out better, do you have limited keepers and/or can you keep an additional player because of this? If so that's an added bonus. Either way I take Connor.

We have to determine keepers (17 this year) 24 hours prior to draft. We can manipulate rosters via trade, not Free Agency, before the draft. I will drop Dumba and then be 17 keeper compliant after the deal, should it go through.

Very much agree. My hesitation is a thought that maybe Brady catches up or exceeds Connor in the future. I still think I do this deal but I'm slow to say yes.

Mash accept. That goal bonus makes Connor a money add.

If you are already dropping Matt Dumba after making this 2 for 1 deal, then I would accept it. I think both McAvoy and Tkachuk are going to put up the same number of points as last season this season (in a 56 game season). With that said, you have too many keepers so this deal makes sense for your team.

Deal went through. Dumba is the last drop.

Had Dach but his injury made him a drop. Some of the other drops were Boqvist, Vatanen, DStrome (before seeing this PP1 and Line1 this season with all the injuries), and a couple other irrelevant players that filled gaps last year.

F: Point, Aho, Rantanen, Connor, Teravainen, MTkachuck, ELindholm, Boeser, DeBrincat, Hischier, Kakko
D: Dahlin, Werenski, Jones, Provorov
G: Shesterykin, Samsonov

With first pick overall, add Lafreniere. At 5th pick overall... we'll see.
