I just traded away Mackinnon, Carlson, Hellebuyck, plus rounds 1 and 2 for Burns and rounds 3 and 4.

assuming none of those dealt away were ever intended keepers I understand it; the price looks steep but for Burns with this season is he having you have to pony up. Matthews, Pavelski, Drouin, Letang, Burns, Anderson, Gibson/Bishop, MacKinnon as a core is something nice to build around in draft but you better be money with your picks as you do not get to start picking until later.

Reading the replies whilst not realizing this thread is 3 years old, made re-reading the replies that much more satisfying. Got my Sunday chuckle in. My first thought was WTF!
