League team and stats in signature.
I have had another GM in my league come to me asking for a price on my pastrnak. He had asked me quite a few times last year about him but I was trying to win and was able to pull it off. Now I have no high draft picks and the GM has come back once again. He has the first 5 picks in the draft coming up and has offered me one of the first round picks and a second round pick. The most valuable player that will likely be available is Lafrieniere or any of the guys who are not being kept on my team.
I guess the offer would look something like:
I give: Pastrnak
I get : 1st round pick (Lafrieniere) + 2nd round pick (kirill Kaprisov is a target if someone more valuable isn't available)
Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Kaprizov will not be available if its rookie only draft..he should go top 5 at the worst. Some would say he should go 2nd.
i would picks 1, 2, and 3 overall if i move Pasta. and thats with understanding that it would set you back for 2 years or so. But after that it should be a win for you.

At this point, I think I'd keep Pastrnak as well.
If, and that's an IF, Lafreniere gets to his level, then this is a trade I'd circle back to, but until that I'll take the sure thing.

Ask him for all 5 top picks. I just traded Pasta away for 4 significant pick upgrades AND Gaudreau, and even then it was only because I need the team depth to go for the win this year (and Pasta is hurt for the first while of a shortened season).
Even then if you think you're going for it this year, don't do the trade. His current offer isn't even close.

Kaprizov just went 6th in a 12 man draft I am in - players under 60 GP in their career were allowed to be picked so he wont be available in the second round
