Dubnyk not accompanying the Wild on this week's road trip
Boudreau said Dubnyk, who's wife Jenn is dealing with a medical situation, will not accompany the #mnwild on its upcoming three-game road trip.
Dubnyk to miss the next 3 games. The Wild have a back-to-back to start next week against the Rangers & Devils and Kaapo Kahkonen should make his NHL debut in one of those games.
Boudreau indicated Kahkonen’s first NHL start will come at NYR or NJ, but that’s subject to change obviously depending on #mnwild outcomes and Stalock’s play/workloadAlso, Dubnyk, who is tending to a family situation, is expected to return to practice Thanksgiving Day

Suddenly, the Minnesota Wild are one of the hottest teams in the NHL. 7-0-3 in their past 10 while being without their #1 goalie. After a dismal start to the season, the Wild are only 2 points out of a playoff spot with a game in hand. They have also played the least amount of home games in the NHL.
Kaapo Kahkonen 2-0 so far, not bad.

No word yet if this is related to Mrs. Dubnyk's health issues.

Boudreau confirms Dubnyk won’t travel to Calgary because of today’s medical procedure with his wife.
Looks like another prospect is being loaned to a KHL club for next season. Khovanov to Ak Bars Kazan for 2020/21.

According to Russian insider (АренаБреда), the Russian forward Alexander Khovanov should play for @hcakbars in #KHL next season. Looks like @mnwild agrees. #NHL#HockeyTwitter
Khovanov to @hockey_se: "Yes, it is true that #mnwild agrees [with a transfer to #KHL], but I would not comment it right now" Apparently the deal with #AkBars is not signed yet, so he does not want to comment it. #NHL#HockeyTwitter

Dean Evason goes with the "hot hand" and the hand stays hot. The Wild played an almost perfect "road" game this evening to take a 1-0 series lead against the Vancouver Canucks. The Wild did not give up many scoring chances and Alex Stalock came up big when needed. A couple of power play goals and an empty netter led to a 3-0 win.
Jared Spurgeon scored twice giving him 5 goals scored in his last two games in his hometown of Edmonton. If he keeps that pace up, the Wild may be playing for a couple more months.
Saturday's game is still postponed and they don't play again until Tuesday.... But a few Wild players have been cleared.
