Prospect forward upside
After Lafreniere and Byfield, which forward from this upcoming draft has the most upside for points only? I’m in love with Rossi, but am wondering if Stutzle or others deserve more attention from me. I will be picking 5th overall. Lafreniere and Byfield will almost certainly go first and second. 3rd and fourth will likely not be prospects. I plan on taking a forward prospect. Who’s the best after Lafreniere and Byfield?

So.. don’t commit yourself so fast to a forward. Yaro Askarov may become the next Shesterkin. And if Ilya Sorokiin is eligible, or is it only the 2020 draft class? Rossi, Stutzle, and maybe Seth Jarvis are my next favorite forwards to become elite players. I’d wager that at least one “D” will go in top 5, so you’ll hopefully have options.

Fair to say these guys are going to be a step above Yamamoto? I was offered Yamamoto and a pick for my 5th overall. The pick he was offering will likely not become a keeper so that pick does not add much value to me.

What do you mean by the next Shesterkin? Do you mean a guy who has played 12 NHL games 6 full years after being drafted? Why would you waste a top 5 pick on someone who probably won't help you at all for 3 or 4 years if he's ahead of the normal curve?
