would be my 4. I can see the argument for Miller. I'm just not 100% sold he's a pt/gm player moving forward. His MC prowess makes him a contender for sure though
12 teams
4 C, 4 LW, 4 RW, 6 D, 2 G, 5 BN
G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, HIT, BLK, W, GAA, SV%
Candidates
Sebastian Aho (C)
Sean Couturier (C)
Leon Draisaitl (C/LW)
Andrei Svechnikov (LW/RW)
Patrik Laine (LW/RW)
JT Miller (LW/RW)
Blake Wheeler (C/RW)
Steven Stamkos (C/LW/RW)
Jacob Trouba (D)
Darnell Nurse (D)
Mark Giordano (D)
Jacob Markstrom (G)
The draft played out wonderfully outside of my goaltending and a "go for it" trade landed Couturier and Giordano. So... keep 4? lol
Note: I'm definitely going to be targeting some offseason trades, trying to unload a player or two for pick upgrades.

There's so many good candidates which gives me the ability to choose an overall team direction if I want. I can go vet heavy with Stamkos/Wheeler who might be better overall short-term or I could go with Draisaitl/Aho/Svechnikov/Laine for some long-term sustainability. I'm interested in seeing what everyone thinks!

If I go that route I imagine there would be a trade market for Laine. He should be one of the first players redrafted.

I agree that it's 4 of these 5 guys:
Sebastian Aho (C)
Leon Draisaitl (C/LW)
Andrei Svechnikov (LW/RW)
Patrik Laine (LW/RW)
Steven Stamkos (C/LW/RW)
I'm a bit worried about Stamkos, but he could bring a solid return, I'd think. Not as much as one of the other guys, but still very solid. No way I keep a D or G when you have those forward options.

In a limited keeper I always go for short term success. Keep the 4 guys that will best help you win next year. Not Three years from now.
saying that I would keep:
Stamkos
Wheeler
Aho
Draisaitl
Bump for the Monday crowd

I agree with Penguin Hunter's go for it now mentality in limited keepers, along with is 4 selections. Maybe Laine over Wheeler
I do go Draisaitl, Stamkos, Aho, and Svechnikov
Short term success is a valid strategy when comparing two different options, however I don't think it'd justify keeping Wheeler over Svech in this case. Imo their short term value is close enough where you should consider what separates them, which is their long term value. You'd be trading in a large amount of future value for a relatively small improvement in the short term.
