I see no reason to hold Jones for you, even if you are required to keep 2 D. Guentzel is your best LW, so he's a different consideration.

I'm currently in 2nd in my league and it's unlikely I'll have enough of a surge to take over #1...however, there's a reason why they play the games. I'm already holding on to Jake Guentzel's body and I can't believe that there is a justification for shackling myself to Seth Jones as well. I'm asking as many of you who care to, to name my six keepers for next year. Hopefully, this will confirm that I am free to kick Seth Jones to the curb (but thanks man, it was a good run) and pick up a replacement.
Thanks.

Goodbye Seth!

If I was you I would try to trade Jones and Guentzel to a team out of the running, and get a keeper player back equivalent to Guentzel who is healthy this season for your run.

Ya, a package deal with Jones and Jake for something that can help this year is the way to go. However, if it doesn't work out you can sure lose Seth without losing any sleep. Next year Jones could be the least productive of the D Men you already have. He is certainly not a keeper for you.

Jones is an incredible real life D, but with Werenski eating up the prime PP minutes, Jones becomes a 45 point type guy.
