I still think the Pens could (but won’t) just replace Guentzel with this new “Sid” person, on Malkin’s wing - this opens them up to sign JG Pageau who stays at center. Yeah, might work, might not - but nice problem to have. Rust has proven his value. Wait - get Crosby back AND have cap space??!??

At this point he just seems to be one of those depth players who had a chance to build chemistry with a star and its paying off. Pittsburg has been doing this for years and now its Rusts turn to make the most of his opportunity. Good for him
