No one knows if Compher will stick on the top line, not even the coach I think as long as he produces, he is there but I don't think the leash will be long.
I might be tempted to drop Haula for him. Don't think Haula keeps up his current production.
Would you drop any of the forwards in my signature to pick up Compher as a streamer? I could use the help at C with Stastny & Toews off to slow starts and Haula a wild card, but I'm not sure if Compher is going to stick on L1 and/or PP1 while Rantanen is out.

I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
I agree, if it's anyone, I'm toying dropping Haula or Stastny. Haula has been hot, but I don't know if it's sustainable because he's not getting plum assignments. Stastny is centering what should be a really productive line, but he (and that line) are not putting much up on the board.

Right now I would stand pat. I dont know what will come of Compher, he's enticing at the moment, but Haula is a nice groove with Carolina and he would be the only one I could make a case for dropping to get Compher, but seems like a lateral move, so just as well stick with what you have.

If number of moves isn't an issue I'd go for it and drop Haula.
I think most people know Mackinnon is really good but I don't think all of them get to see him as much because west coast/colorado. He's like a freaking tornado out there. I want anyone playing beside him on the top line AND PP1 (pp1 is key and why I'm not as huge on Kassian for example).
Could the deployment change and Haula get scooped up by someone else while you ride Compher? Sure. That's worst case scenario and you still gain a strean position to put in available centers with good schedules. There will be more injuries and deployment bumps throughout the season and having an open stream spot can be extremely valuable.
The upside on Compher with the deployment he's received in the last two games is too high to pass on for haula imo.
