So.. nowhere??
I know he's not a core piece on anyone's team but he was an impact in the second half last year especially at his price point and with the peripherals. If he can sign for 3 mil or less I still think he warrants play in cap leagues. I feel like his 30 last year was on the back of a train wreck first half that extended to the whole blues team. A goal heavier 40 points with fantastic hits and pims would be great addition to the bench of a contending team.
Will he sign in that price range? The further the summer goes on without his signature on a contract the lower that price tag is looking.
Where do we want him to sign? Is Pittsburgh a possibility? What about Edmonton again? The big rig in oil country for another career season? What teams have enough room for him to make an impact? Ottawa?
Just wanted to start a general discussion on this guy as his contract situation remains unresolved. Anyone have any insider info?
So.. nowhere??
At this point, “the NHL” would be a good start.
- I said... "God damn this tablet is heavy!"
At this stage of the game he's not signing to play a top-six role. He's a bottom-six power forward. I doubt he clears 30 points.

Philly could take him to slot into a bottom 6 if the price is right. Someone to replace some of Simmonds grit.

A bottom dweller team should pick him up so they can flip him for a pick at the deadline.
