I think so. Even if Leddy isn't traded, I think Pulock will be the main PP option next year.
Is this the year Pulock gets to run the top PP? In my mind, he’s better than Leddy. Am I the only one thinking this? Haha

Sorry to be a Debbie downer but don’t count out Devon Toews in the PP mix. Small sample with lots of sheltering but did very well offensively. He recieved more than a few looks on the PP (48gp 40.7%PP) and even more in the playoffs (8gp 60.3%PP). It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he continues to get more looks over Pulock. Pulock’s numbers where 39.4%PP and 37.9%PP for reference.

Either way, Dobson is one of my prospects and I expect he’ll be the guy before too long. Might just have to get what I can for Pulock before that happens. Haha
Pulock’s a great own in multi-cat leagues but I’d be a bit weary in point only leagues. Dobson is a fantastic blue chip prospect. Just pointing out D.Towes may carve out a decent amount of PP time and could be a decent sleeper pick in some leagues.

he's a tool utilized on pp because of his shot so he wont be confused as the isles pp qb anytime soon but my definition of that might be different than yours .
toews took over more #1 ppqb time from leddy as season progressed . his decision making once entering ozone was a bit quicker than nicks .
new assistant coach Hiller is apparently a pp coach so maybe pulock gets his shot featured on pp1 and has more success with it than last season . He missed the net often and shot it into shin pads a lot during 5 on 4's but he was deadly once in awhile during 5 on 3's in oveys office .
I would defer to Butch’s insight on this one as he watches more Iles than I do. My decisions and breakdowns come more from stats and deployment than eye test. I also lean on breakdown and opinions of people more in the know than I, and Butch is definitely that. Much appreciated Butch!

I was just about to post a topic about Pulock or Dobson in dynasty leagues. Is it basically a forgone conclusion that Toews and Pulock won't even be in the PP1 conversation in two years?
I hate to say it but Toews seemed to be getting favoured as things went along last year. Pulock has skill but doesn’t play as smoothly as Toews does. Doesn’t skate as well either. Upside for Pulock is Sheldon Souray with the Habs. Downside is Sheldon Souray everywhere else.
Traded him for Batherson.

I made the trade because I already have Dobson as a prospect. Also I’m a big Batherson believer.
This seems like an annual thread. I've be seeing this question about Pulock for like 3 years now. That said, Pulock seems like a logical PP weapon due to his shot alone. He can pound the puck as well as any D in the league pretty much. If he doesn't become a high-end PP monster this year it's likely never going to happen. Long-term I think Dobson ends up a PP beast--his skills are nasty.

Owning Dobson made this decision much easier.
