My heart says Blues, My mind says Bruins.
Funny enough, the last time the Blues made the SCF, they faced the Bruins.
Fudge it, Blues in 7.

Blues in 4. Let's see the Eastern Conference sweep continue!
That Tarasenko shot last night.... my God. That line is finally gelling in these here playoffs. Boston will have had what? 11 days off by the time we start game 1? I can't see that being great for Rask, who was arguably playing his best hockey over the last two years. Great for Bergeron and Chara to get this break... Stl. getting 5 days off will freshen them up too.
Still nothing like the MLS break until the finals.

This is going to be the best Stanley Cup Final in quite some time!!
I am going to say 7 games and Blues win in overtime... just cause that would be amazing!!
Two of my favourite teams to root for this year!
I can't say I even know yet who I'll be rooting for.
As an old man, I'd love to see the vets on the Bruins win another.
But as an owner of Binnington & Robert Thomas on my WHL team, I like them too.
(Though I also own Backes - a NHL fave of mine, and Bergeron on same WHL team).
Hmm...
I voted for the Blues in 6 only because that's who I am rooting for.

I really have no idea. The easy answer is Boston because they are the heavy favourites in my opinion. In my preseason prediction Final I had St. Louis vs. Toronto but I can’t remember who I had winning. I also want STL to win but that doesn’t mean much either.
So.... I’ll say Bruins in 6 but I’m really hoping it’s STL is 4!
No more betting against St. Louis

I really like St Louis in 6 here since I said at the begining of the year they could win this year.
This is going to be a great series. Two excellent coaches and 2 hot goalies. Berube seems to have the winning formula.
Long dormancy between games could come back to cost Boston, as I think someone had a stat either last year or the year prior where the team with the LONGER layoff between the conference final and the Cup final had a markedly worse record in the Cup final. Still though, I think Boston will prove too much and Binnington won't be able to channel Cam Ward.

I find it really funny that no one has picked Boston in a 7 game series. They've played 9 Game 7s since 2011 and their record is 6-3 in those games. The core of this team comes up big when they are needed the most. Honestly, if St Louis has a chance of winning this series, I think they have to do it in 5 games. They will have a hard time closing it out in games 6 or 7 when the Bruins have their backs against the wall.
Without me, it's only "aweso".
I too think the Bruins' layover is too long, whereas four days for the Blues is just about right. I also think that the B's defence hasn't been exploited they way they should have been and the Blues are the team to do it. Blues in six, as if it goes seven I can't see the Bruins losing it at home.
