Whats do you guys think the impact will be on the other fantasy relevant players on the team?
Is Eriksson the best candidate to fill in for him? Should we see a big boost in production here?

I think this just puts the final nail in Dallas\'s coffin. They are in one of the toughest divisions, and already had a big hole to climb out of. This shatters the great chemistry that ribeiro and morrow had, and takes the heart and soul out of the dressing room. It is a shame because of the potential at the begining of the season, but it is about time to abandon this sinking ship.

Are you so sure we should abandon Dallas players just because Morrow is down?
Do you think that there is no chance now that Turco turns it around?
Maybe Neal will step in and have a monster year?

this is a huge blow to the Stars; however they have some great leadership in that room. I\'m not sure if this will be the beginning of the end for them, but won\'t be surprised if they do start to fall apart.

One has to think as to what will happen there now. Morrow was keeping Avery in line... be interesting to see if Avery will start up with his antics again.

One really cant underestimate his importance. A very good comparison would be Calgary. How long would they last without Iginla? Tampa without Vinny? (ok I know they already are struggling) Your not only removing the heart and soul of the team, but your losing the link between coaches and players (captain). Sorry but when you look at the huge struggles of this team already, losing their best player isnt going to turn their season around.

I think Neal will step right onto that top line? Anybody agree? It\'s either him or Brunnstrom.

step onto yes, contribute, no. The top line was a top line because it was RIbeiro AND Morrow, Ribeiro/Neal/Lehtinen(although he is out 10 days) will get shredded by any opposing top d-pairing and checking forwards. Look for Richards to possibly see a boost in points, as more responsibility will be shifted his way.
