I think we should recruit as many as we can, the deeper the better, as long as people will be committed.
Classifieds sound good.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes have signed pitcher Jose Jose....

I might draft him just to name my team...Jose Jose Jose!!
I think it's worth confirming the settings so we can plan our draft prep.
From my perspective, with only playing last season (have no previous comparison), I thought the settings worked well.
What do you all think of the roster depth?
Happy with the changes from previous seasons?
There maaayyyy, slimmmm chance, that the 10-day DL gets switched back to 15 Day DL this season, more likely it happens for next season though.

I remember almost every team complained with the amount of DL slots so whatever it was last year, should be increased this season.
As far as scoring categories and roster positions go, I think the simpler the better considering we are all mainly hockey guys here. If it were up to me I’d have shallower rosters, maybe lose a utility spot.
I'm fine with adding an extra DL slot if the majority want it.
For depth, I'm actually a fan of deeper leagues but I know this may not be the popular opinion. That said, if we only end up with 10 managers again, I wouldn't want to expand the rosters any more. But I don't want to reduce the number either. Right now we draft 250 players (10 x 25), which seems like a good amount for a 10 team league. Even if we ended up with 12 managers, I'd be fine with keeping it the same (300 players), but wouldn't object to DusterDave's suggestion of removing one utility slot to reduce the total a bit.
HR - have you received any interest from the classified post yet?
I'm fine with one more DL slot if everyone else wants it, but definitely not more than that. It's part of the fun is having to choose when to sit through injuries and when to act rashly.
As for the number of players drafted, 240-300 sounds right.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I’m fine with whatever is decided, I didn’t expect my reduced roster size proposal to be a popular one.
I'm hoping that the lack of response is because it's still early Feb.....
