Whew what a week! Nice bounce-back for me but damn I hate to lose Jimmy G for the season. Not sure if I should change my name if he's gone for good and I have to drop him.
Bear with me on this summary as the only draft prep I did was our forum mock draft and a single yahoo mock. Blew through most of it by the seat of my pants and learned a lot in the draft just by reading the player notes haha.
Pick 10 Kareem Hunt. I like going RB heavy early, and he was the top option. No overthinking things here.
Pick 15 Christian McCaffrey. Again, top upside RB available.
Pick 34 Kenyan Drake. Didn't like any of the WR options as much as Drake, and having a RB with a week 4 bye plus a flex spot made this an easy choice.
Pick 39 JuJu Smith-Schuster. A bit of a novelty pick as I love the name and owned him last year. Top WR option available and I couldn't just draft 15 RBs... Maybe another year.
Pick 58 Russel Wilson. Maybe a little early for a QB, but I think I now have the top set of RBs, as well as a top option at QB. Now need a couple gems at WR, and to be active on the WW. Gives the the freedom to reach on WRs the rest of the draft. I also figured Emmanuel Sanders would drop to my next pick anyways.
Pick 63 ES. He did drop. Hopefully he can pull through on some of that potential.
Pick 72 Robby Anderson. Another guy I had last year who went on a massive TD/game streak. Can't forget that, and he really upgrades my WR options when he plays. Bit of a wildcard with the possible suspension though, but I don't think it happens right away. (This comes into play later.)
Pick 77 Jordan Reed. Best TE left, great week 1 matchup, just has to stay healthy. I usually end up going to the WW for TEs anyways, so gambling on some boom/bust upside doesn't bother me.
Pick 96 Tyler Lockett. New extension is a good sign, and if Baldwin isn't healthy all year then Lockett is going to see a lot of volume.
Pick 101 Chris Thompson. Last RB just for some variety, depth, and injury insurance. Has volume upside that I like as a bench option.
Pick 120. Julian Edelman With maybe having to deal with a Robby Anderson suspension at the mid-end season, why not pick up a guy missing the first few games but who could light it up for the latter 2/3rds of the season. Was tageting Jeffrey, but he went already, so I was stuck with Brady's main guy.
Pick 125 Latavias Murray. I lied, not my last RB. Figured he was worth the gamble at this point based on possibly taking over the starting RB job. Can't ever have too many.
Pick 144 New Orleans. They have a decent season setup, and a great matchup their first two games.
Pick 149 Dez Bryant. At this point in the draft, why not?
Pick 168 Robbie Gould. It's a kicker, who knows

Without me, it's only "aweso".
Ouch, left Cooks and White on the bench this week. That's almost 50pts between the two of them

With my three buys this week and duds from Wilson/Drake, it's not looking good to keep the undefeated streak going.

Wow, our match was a nail biter that came down to the Kickers for Pittsburgh and Baltimore facing off last night. Ended up with 102.46 to 102.10 finish! Doesn't come much tighter than that!
Without me, it's only "aweso".

Yeah... 8-0.
THE Nickel City is living up to his "THE".
Mahomes (#1 QB), Kamara (#4 RB), Thielen (#1 WR), D.Adams (#4 WR).
He's got it all. Plus great streaming Ks, with Zeurlein on roster right now.
Absolute cruise control towards the #1 overall regular season standing (& promotion to Tier I) - which includes H2H win of #2 Leatherheads.
I can not catch a break.
I do like my RBs, I was able to get some good pickups to help fill the Freeman void. Lindsay, AP, and Cohen. Besides that there's not a whole lot of positives on my team.

Huge MNF Game in Tier II tonight!
The undefeated (I've never seen it happen) 9-0-0 THE Nickel City is on the ropes this week.
Eskimo Bro (6-3-0) needs exactly 9.00pts to pull the upset.
125.36 THE Nickel City (feat. Mahomes, Adams, Kamara, A.Jones)
116.40 Eskimo Bro (feat. Luck, JoJoSS, Hunt, McCaffrey)
It comes down to George Kittle, TE-SF, tonight for Eskimo Bro!
9.00pts could be:
i) 2 catch, 20 yards, TD.
ii) 6 catch, 60 yards.
Strap on those seat belts!
Round of applause for Jason Garrett. He finally made Zeke the focal point of the offense. Yeaaahhh!!! But they are allergic to playing well, so this is the last time we'll see Zeke do well under Garrett.

I was looking at my team, and just thought, “wow, if only I hadn’t drafted Devonta Freeman and a different RB with my second pick”. I looked at the next RBs drafted after I drafted Freeman….Not a whole lot of value there lol:
I drafted Freeman 9th in the 2nd round, here’s the next few:
3rd round:
1, Royce Freeman (meh)
2, McKinnon (hurt)
3, Howard (Turned into backup RB)
8, Collins (Meh, may have a solid 2nd half though)
10, Drake (Miami forgets he’s a Dolphin)
Round 4
2, Henry (just maybe turning it on)
8, McCoy (yeahhhh)
11, Ajayi (hurt)
Round 5
1, Lewis (not bad, not good)
8, Lamar Miller (mehhhhH)
11, Lynch (hurt)
