Definitely keep De Brincat and I would trade the 4th for Werenski.

My team has won twice and been in the running the last 6 years until a fall from grace that saw me miss the playoffs last year. I packaged quite a few players to lock down some solid keepers at the cost of depth. Early in the year I gave up my first this year in a last ditch effort to get back into the running by trading for Crawford, this was prior to his injury. I have accumulated some additional draft picks in rounds 2, 4 and 7.
Malkin C
Gaudreau LW
Kopitar C
Granlund C RW
Provorov D
Murray G
Bubble: (Need 2 more keepers)
*Crawford G
*DeBrincat LW RW
Shattenkirk D
Miller C RW
Galchenyuk C LW
Reinhart C RW
Pretty stumped on who to keep as Crawford and Shattenkirk are question marks. I love Debrincats upside but still plan to compete this year and while I know how high Dobber is on Miller, his peripherals are weak and I am not entirely sold.
I have the following trade options on the table:
Rakell 3rd
Dumba 4th
Werenski 4th
(Other noteable players that could be available for picks: Letang, Dubynk, Schenn, Biship, Fluery, Jones, Arviddson, Getzlaf, Tkachuck, Huberdeau, Krug, W Karlsson, Carter, Hornqvist, JVR)
Heres what 3rd and 4th rounders got you last year:
3rd - Toffoli, Raanta, Ghost, Eberle, Suter, E Kane, Smith
4th - Kreider, Neal, Trocheck, Ryan O'Reilly, Reinheart, Gardiner, Staal
Happy to hear any insight. Thanks Dobberheads.
Definitely keep De Brincat and I would trade the 4th for Werenski.
McDavid/Necas/ Kucherov/Bjorkstrand/Rust/Nugent Hopkins/Cirelli/Zegras/- Letang/Morrissey/Dahlin - Swayman/Saros/Skinner
Prospects include:
McTavish/Clarke/Bordeleau
Dumais/Korchinski/Hutson
Don't worry I'm not going to say anything more than I have to. If that.
I agree on keeping DeBrincat, but I would probably trade a 4th for Dumba instead of Werenski. Better category coverage, and it looks like he's penciled in for PP1 duties. If you aren't really sold on either of these guys, it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep Crawford. He's coming along in his recovery from a concussion, and he's definitely one of the better goalies in the NHL when healthy. He's a solid choice.

Thanks for the advice guys, rep delivered. I wound up making a minor move of a 10th round for Ristolainen. (Dropping Crawford) Still some time to make deals but likely moving ahead with my 6 locks, DeBrincat and Risto
Update: Been offered Pieterangelo for a 6th. Anyone thoughts over making that deal and letting Debrincat go?
