Default Guentzel vs Drouin vs JT Miller

I'll be able to pick one of these players at number 5 in our upcoming draft.
Which do you prefer in a points-only set-up? League in signature.
I'm making a run for it this season but I want to add a young asset to my aging forward corps.

    Cheers!

Definitely not Miller. I would go Drouin.

    McDavid/Necas/ Kucherov/Bjorkstrand/Rust/Nugent Hopkins/Cirelli/Zegras/- Letang/Morrissey/Dahlin - Swayman/Saros/Skinner

    Prospects include:
    McTavish/Clarke/Bordeleau
    Dumais/Korchinski/Hutson

Don't worry I'm not going to say anything more than I have to. If that.

    Hard to tell...

Guentzel need to be in the PP1 of Pittsburgh (Hornqvist) to be competitive
Samething here with JT Miller (Killorn in the first PP)
Drouin healthy and as a winger can be a really good surprise

I will say that Drouin have the best opportunity to perform... but in Montreal we rarely see a 70+ points players
Go with Guentzel : Hornqvist can drop in PP2, and Guentzel had a really good playoff run

I've got Miller and Drouin for 58 points and Guentzel for 54. All have reasonable upside for 65+.

Miller has a cushy spot on the top line in TB but I have a (personal) feeling that he won't last the whole season there. But that's just me.

Drouin is playing on the wing right now which should help him a TON after the nightmare last year at C. But how long will that last? It's not like Max Domi has had success at C either and do we really expect Koktaniemi to last the whole year?

Guentzel is the safest pick probably but he ain't sniffing PP1 unless Hornqvist gets hurt (which he probably will). But even then, he hasn't been a great point-producer so far.

I'd go with Drouin as well but barely over Miller and Guentzel.

I like Miller then Guentzel then Drouin.

I don't see Hornqvist going anywhere since he does a great job on PP 1 unless he gets injured.
I like the idea of moving Drouin back to the wing, and he might flourish there, but Montreal only has so much offense. He would be a bit of a long shot IMO.
Miller could easily pick up this season where Namestinikov left off last season. Will he stay with Stamkos and Kuch? Not sure. But he is who I would pick of these.

Someone has to score in Montreal... Miller could be this year's namestnikov only he's a better player. I think I chance miller due to line mates and opportunity. I wouldn't touch Guentzel with no pp action.

    Miller, then Guentzel then Drouin.

I say that as a long-suffering Habs fan. Montreal is where scorers go to die.

Miller is entirely dependent on line placement and in the preseason it's becoming obvious to the people who follow the team that he's not a mortal lock to play on the top line all season. Guentzel is in a similar position to Miller. Drouin is the only sure-fire top-line guy, albeit on the Floundering Frenchmen. I'd take Drouin.

Drouin. He’s the one who will have the most opportunities. He’ll be a lot more productive playing on the wing.

Some good arguments for Drouin here. I was really close between Drouin and Miller and was leaning Miller only because he may play on the top line. Drouin is the top line for Montreal and as I said in my first post, someone has to score there. It was miller by a hair in my first post and now I'm not so sure so I think it's very close. I drafted Stone for the same reason I suppose, someone has to score in Ottawa.

Drouin is 100% sure to play all year 1st line/1stPP. Miller not.

Thanks everyone! Indeed there are some good arguments for Drouin... I?m not that high on the player (as in believing that he has PPG potential) but he does have a certain bit of upside. If he hits 65 he?s definitely a keeper for me.
