What was the offer? I still like him and he's only 23. But it all depends on what the offer was, I think.
I've been offered him in a trade and want to know what your thoughts are on him going forward? This is for a points only dynasty league. I haven't been that high on him before but alot of people seem to believe in him. At 23yrs old his career high of 35 is underwhelming to me. I know he's previously bounced up and down the line-up before due to trust issues defensively resulting in low toi... but now that Trotz is gone maybe the "training wheels" come off? Will he ever take that next step into fantasy relevance (preferably sooner rather then later)? What kind of point totals do u expect from him next year and beyond? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

New coach will help him. Staying healthy is the most important thing for his success this season and beyond -- I owned him for a few years, and it seems like every time he starts to get rolling, he gets hurt and it sets him back.
I think finnys' projection is reasonable. Upside will totally be dependent on chemistry with Kuz or Backstrom.

Its tough to say considering theres a new coach but this is how I see it.
If he can bump Vrana from the 2nd line and get 2PP time he could score 55-60.
If he stays on the 3rd line he's more likely to get only 35-40 again.
I see him most likely getting some combination of the two scenarios and putting up 50 points.

I am a fan of Bura but not convinced he'll break out this year. Even if he slides into Vrana's spot, that PP1 eats up so much time that I think his ceiling is limited this season.
I'd gamble that you could pick him up for a similar ask next summer - at which point the landscape may have changed.
He's a "like" to have for me not a "must" have kind of guy - so I'm always willing to gamble missing out in hopes of timing it "better".

I used to be a believer. But he let me down each year. The emergence of vrana further complicates things. Unless you can buy extremely low I would say steer clear
As a Caps fan I'll give you my opinion.
This season is huge for Bura, he got passed up during the playoffs by Vrana with his play. What myself and other Caps fans that I've talked to noticed however was during the later half of the playoffs he seemed to have that mindset click that he can be a bigger player and use his height to his advantage. He started trying to lean on players a bit more and not shy away from the contact as much. He also has admittedly had issues with his mindset and stated in a interview last season that some of his issues are between the ears and that he was going to be seeing a sport psychiatrist in the offseason.
I recently saw video of him training and he appears to have bulked up a bit this offseason if he really has realized that his size could be an advantage and is no longer just the lanky kid on the team and truly bulks up then he could be in for a strong season.
I wouldn't be surprised if Vrana takes a step back this coming season in his sophomore season opening the door for Burky to retake the 2nd line LW position which has previously shown chemistry with Backstrom and Oshie on that line. He is a player that is very frustrating to watch at times. You can see flashes of a great release that could make him a strong candidate for 30-40 goals a year then see that shot continually go high and wide. I agree with others above, he stays stuck on the 3rd line you're looking at 35-40 pts. Upsets Vrana and takes over to the left of Backstrom-Oshie then you could see him flirt with 50. Him upsetting Vrana however I think comes down to how Vrana trained in the offseason and if Burky got between his ears figured out as he stated he needed to.
