That's much more realistic. Panarin+ was a clear 'shoot for the moon' sort of offer. Those can get annoying.

The other GM is still mulling it over. He did mention that he was starting to feel more lukewarm about the deal, but I told him I'm not willing to add more.
I think he also got an 11th hour offer from another GM that included Sergachev, a "top-line forward", and two forward prospects.

Update:
GM went with another offer of Sergachev, Couture, N.Schmaltz, 2018 4th Round Pick and 2018 5th Round Pick in exchange for the 1st Overall and a 2018 5th Round Pick.
I countered with McAvoy, Stepan, Reinhart, 2018 2nd Round Pick and the owner of the 1st OV wanted me to add the 3rd overall to get the deal done. Made no sense what so ever.
