I believe 2020 after KHL contract is up. That’s if he even does come over
Just wondering when this kid is coming to the NHL. Next season?

The only thing that is certain is it won't be soon.
Yeah... I dropped him from my minors roster when I heard he signed a new contract in the KHL.
2 years to go on hi contract. It's gonna be worth the wait.

If you have room stash him, it'll be a couple of years but he has high-end skill.

If you can keep him in the minors then do it. He's a highly skilled player and seems like the type from interviews that wants to prove himself at the highest level (being NHL). He'll be 23 when he comes over so he'll be well developed.

If you have room to stash him its definitely worth the wait. If he doesn't come over, then it's not that big of a loss, just a wasted minor league roster spot.
Thanks for the feedback!
Ya, I was just curious cuz I recently had an offer scoffed at. Offered, Kaprizov, Steel and White for Chytil and Svechnikov. Apparently that was insulting?
I'll definitely be keeping Kaprizov then! I guess by the time most of this current draft class hit the NHL fulltime, so will Kaprizov
Cheers

per The Athletic:
Likely "zero chance" of Kaprizov making his debut this summer, even if he signs and the NHL resumes play.

The Wild would love to have him for the remainder of this year, if/when it starts back up to help with their playoff push. That being said, if they can still convince him to sign and start "next" season (whenever that starts), they dont burn the first year of his ELC for a short amount of time so that benefits their business side too. Here’s why this is such a big deal from a Wild perspective: If Kaprizov is ineligible to play this season, the Russian star would now have to wait for the 2020-21 season to debut. But if next season is delayed until December, as has been suggested, Kaprizov could conceivably be persuaded into re-signing in the KHL for one more year if the KHL winds up starting next season on time.
It's an interesting situation for sure.
