If it was injury related, they likely would have stated that, especially now to quash any other kind of guessing. The fact that they have not been commenting on it at all combined the whispers coming from multiple sources makes it more devious.

If I had to guess I would say its pain killers.
Dubinsky gave his all during a long career and his body paid the price.
Easy to get hooked on pain pills as is evidenced by all the opioid troubles
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
