Matt D\'Agostini....Tearing up the AHL
Saw him at the last two training camps. He showed tremendous vision of the ice, playing along Koivu, Kovalev or Higgins. He is a perseverant player and it really shows when compared to other young players.
Despite being small, he does not show any kind of skills with his skating or his stickhandling. However, his presence around the net, his body and stick positioning are above NHL average.
He\'ll get called up when a major injury occurs to a player of the 3 first lines. He\'ll never be a 70-pt player (at least on the Habs) since MTL has so many players like this.
He\'ll be on the starting line-up next year. As for this year, I guess he could get something between 5 to 20 games and score 3 to 12 pts. Same projection of games for Pacioretty but a better pts projection.
