I'll be different and say Will BUTCHER! he's getting the minutes and I just have a feeling he'll be at least as good as McAvoy this year.

Butcher is getting a shot to show what he can do on the PP because he is a smallish guy expected to be a PP specialist at best, but he is still only playing 12-13 minutes so far and had a lot of holes in his game at ES. Specialists are nice and all, but if he continues to be inept at other aspects of the game, a coach will only gift him with PP time for so long before he knows teammates will get resentful.
McEvoy is already being given 20+ minutes a game. At worst he will be on PP 2.

Great points raised. Longterm for sure I'd want McAvoy. Shorterm in a 10 team keeper league? Neither are getting kept. Butcher is the PP QB in NJ both off to great starts. Longterm McAvoy for sure. Butcher short term.

To each their own- but to be fair theyre both splitting ppqb duties (with Krug and Severson). I understand people might not like Severson that much but until proven differently he'll be taking half the pp time. NJ way less scoring depth to boot if they ever flip flop. If Mac has to settle for pp2 hes still in fine company. I dont own either- not a bias that way- just dont see Butcher as a threat here.
Of course now he'll end upas this years Ghost Bear.
Can we start calling him Will the Butcher yet?
