    Default Week 1 WR2/Flex Options

    Standard scoring, 12-man league

    Back for another season, excited to get things going! Still a bit of an NFL rookie...

    Mostly set on my line-up for Week 1, just not totally set on my WR2 and Flex picks.

    Current locks:
    RB1: Devonta Freeman (ATL vs @CHI)
    RB2: CJ Anderson (DEN vs Chargers)
    WR1: Michael Thomas (NO vs @MIN)
    Out*: WR Jarvis Landry, Devontae Booker

    WR: Pierre Garcon (SF vs CAR), Eric Decker (TEN vs OAK), Chris Hogan (NE vs KC)
    RB: Jonathan Stewart (CAR vs @SF), Rob Kelley (WAS vs PHI)

    I currently have Decker in at WR2 and Stewart in at Flex. I would probably go Garcon at WR2, but I have Panthers D so it makes sense not to play Garcon against my own D...right? Hogan also plays tonight, so there's limited time to slot him in if people think he may be the better option.

    Thanks for any and all input, folks!

    ---------------------------------------------

    Bonus Question:
    I currently have Graham Gano (CAR vs @SF) as my kicker, but I saw Sebastian Janikowski (OAK vs @TEN) is no longer in contract disputes and is slated to start in a "high scoring affair" this Sunday? Add/drop?

    Thanks again!

    It doesn’t matter if your WR plays your D. But it’s like when you have 3goalies starting and you either play the 2 who play each other to almost guarantee the win, or you play the 2 who don’t play each other and hope for 2wins, but risk 0wins.

    Personally, I just play my best options week 1 and 2. You drafted them to play, play them to start. BUT that said. Tennessee should be in a shootout with Oakland, so I like the Decker start there.

    WR2=Decker

    Flex=Garcon for me.

    I like Decker at WR and Stewart/Garcon at Flex.

    I would probably go Garcon cause Carolina was weak against the pass and we still are not sure what Carolina is going to do with their RBs.

    Start both Decker and Garcon.

    Garcon and Hogan for me. NE is so "hard to predict" because they exploit weaknesses more than any other team. KC's biggest weakness is in the short middle of the field. The "Edelman" role. I believe Hogan will take that role, so he's my choice.

    Decker and Hogan would be my two choices. If it was my team I would be playing Kelley over Anderson. At least guaranteeing touches out of the gate.

    Decker and Garcon for me.

    I'd like Hogan much more if Gronk wasn't healthy.

    I decided not to go with Hogan last night, which I guess wasn't a bad choice as he only picked up 25 yards. Although, looks like Amendola may miss time so Hogan's value may increase going forward.

    I've been convinced by you guys that playing Garcon against my Panthers D isn't the worst thing, so I think that's the way I'm leaning. Still a couple days to decide though.

    Did anyone have opinions on picking up Janikowski over Gano? I know it's a pretty minor decision, just curious what people think
    * Immediately after posting this, I read that Janikowski has been limited at practice with a back issue. Maybe I'll hold off, at least for Week 1

    I saw he was still dropped a ton in the research tab of yahoo! and didn't know why so i avoided that comment. But now i know why.

    If you're skeptical at all about a kicker, go get a completely different one. Dime a dozen and not worth the head ache.
