    Default Alex Nedeljkovic

was wondering what peoples opinions of Alex Nedejkovic (G) is and if he has the potential to be the Hurricanes starter in the not to distant future or is he destined to be a backup or AHL starter?, figure w/ the young core in Carolina of Skinner, Aho, TT, Lindholm, Hanafin, Slavin etc; Carolina should be a consistent playoff team soon enough and if Nedeljkovic is gonna be a part of that I wouldn't mind stashing him for my dynasty league

I don't know if he's gonna end up being a good NHL goaltender but he's definitely worth a stash in a dynasty league.

I'm not as high on him as some and I'm also not 100% sold on Carolina becoming a consistent playoff team just because they have a bunch of young players.

What are your alternatives on the wire?

when it comes to minor league tendies the more high tier ones are already taken (Saros, Russian Trio, Demko, Korpi), available ones are Tarry, Parsons, Gillies, Fucale, O'Connor, Stolarz, and Nedeljkovic well ones worth mentioning

Remove Fucale from that list, and pick anyone from a hat.

Stolarz has a chance of being up with the Flyers next year.

I think with Tarry you meant Tristan Jarry. He would be my top choice from that list. Gillies/Parsons would be my 2nd choice.

If you're looking for the nearest thing I'd go Stolarz and then Jarry - what that nearest thing actually is will be another matter but I like Stolarz's situation right now

nedeljkovic is the hurricanes' goalie of the future. I would definitely stash him. nothing in front of him on the depth charts, which is a very important factor in evaluating goalie prospects. I think part of the reason the canes brought back cam ward for 2 more years was to give nedeljkovic time to get ready for the nhl.

I think it's far more likely they go outside the organization for goalie help after Ward/Lack. Not many goalies really qualify as goalie of the future.

Agree with the others that your top choices are Stolarz (1-2yrs) or Jarry/Parsons (2-5yrs)
