Hey Guys,
2nd league in sig - made lots of deals so the team isn't the same and I haven't updated. I am in tank mode and currently have 3 first round picks in this years draft...
My current keepers are
Tarasenko, Huberdeau, Drouin, Barkov, Landescog, Josi and Andersen
I have been offered...
Logan Couture, Matthew Barzal, 1st and 2nd rd picks this year and 1st rd pick next year
for
Barkov, Josi and two 4th rd picks this year
I don't mind moving Josi - I kind of want to gamble on Bennett (or i could even keep Spezza) as a keeper and I have Werenski on the farm.
Didn't want to move Barkov but does getting Couture and Barzal back plus the high picks make it worth it? Thoughts?

How valuable are the picks in a keep 7... I don't like it. You're giving up 2 of your current keepers and already have a stacked draft next year.

I know I have a stacked draft.....Maybe I was thinking to be more stacked. Haha.
My big question is Couture over Barkov. I'm a big Couture fan and I have young guys in Huberdeau and Drouin on the upswing. I like the idea of having Couture who I know I can count on for solid numbers.

I look at it this way:
Barkov and josi > Couture and bennett
I like josi and if Barkov can stay healthy next year watch out.

If you're going to package Barkov and josi I aim higher than Couture. Upgraded keepers are more valuable than picks in most situations.

Those are valid points.....I just think that Couture and Barzal may be better long term than Barkov - but maybe I'm wrong.
I'm OK with moving Josi.....But I'm also OK with keeping him
