    Quick poll.

    A. How many signed up for it?
    B. How many were thinking about it, but thought it was just too much?
    C. How many wouldn\'t have sign up for it anyway?

I fall into category B. I dunno. I just couldn\'t justify paying $27 a month for an internet streaming feed. I can just as easily get NHL Center Ice for the same amount.

    What do other people think?

    B.

I loved it, but my wallet doesn\'t. Maybe if they had extended the free trial period I would have taken the plunge.

I think if you buy NHL Center Ice, Gamecenter access comes with it....
    thought i read that somewhere

    I am so B.

    I am their target demographic.

Male. Single Income. Early 30\'s. Disposable income. Loves hockey passionately. Technology fiend.

But they priced me out of it.

I would have paid an HD-feed that kind of price, but $27 month for unreliable and blacked out games??

I am A. I paid for it and love it. Sure it is just a stream, but it\'s cool seeing the stats as they happen. Also, I got in on the $19.99 a month. I have to be honest though, I wouldn\'t even consider it really if I were able to get center ice on tv. However, I changed cable providers a few months ago, and no center ice for me now. So I have to do what I have to do to get my hockey fix. One nice thing is I don\'t have to be home to watch... but yea, it doesn\'t beat hockey on tv. I\'d still recommend it if there were no other options.

The trial period only lasted 3 days.

Unfortunately for us Canadians, our \'special offer\' price was $27.99/month. I fail to understand why Canadians put up with jacked-up prices whether our dollar is low or not...

Now I think the price is $31.99/month - definitely out of my price range.

If the price for me was $19.99, I probably would have made the jump.

Also, if the trial period lasted a bit longer...maybe that would have been enough to hook me...

But as it is, the only thing I am missing is the video...whenever there is a game that interests me that isn\'t on TV, I can just as easily listen to it....for free.

I fall into category A. Like one of the posters above I can not get the package through my cable service. So this was really my only option. I got in on the $19.99 a month deal.

i think you, dagoonie and leedguitar, are the true target demographic.

as was pointed out, if you can get centerice, do you really need gamecenter?

For the sake of not failing out of school, I went with option C.
