I\'m thinking they wanna squeeze in one more forward who\'s \"on the fence\" for final cuts.
Wonder how this, if it actually happens, affects his value. I\'d guess fewer points, but he\'d eventually get dual-elegibity from Yahoo! and the likes.
Also, what does this say about the rumors, whether true or not, about moving other center Nylander.
All this and he probably won\'t even play one game on defense... :lol:

Federov on Defense?
very interesting...as the article notes he\'s done it before and IMO its actually a smart move for the Caps, he\'s excellent defensively and the times I\'ve seen him play D he looked like a natural. Having a guy who can be slotted in as either a defenseman or forward and play each position equally well is huge.

Caught only a little of the game today...it looked like he was on d for while. Anyone catch if that was even strength or was it pp time?
