yeah, that riding has been orange for the past 20 years as probably the guy with the most Parliamentary experience for the NDP held down that riding throughout. i knew he wasn\'t going to win actually, they just aren\'t to cross political lines that far just so they can declare their hockey patronage in this town.
funny little story, Tomas signed a bunch of his signs at the start of the campaign but they kept getting stolen. it doesn\'t help your situation in an election if your sign goes into some collector\'s arsenal of signatures. eh?

this is actually my wife\'s riding.

i think there might be a recount due to some \"boxes being misplaced\".

Being an ex-Jet definitely brought him close to winning. everyone in that riding that I know were just pumped to say they voted for Steen.....regardless of whether they cared or not.

orange... NDP? i find it very interesting how the parties are regarded differently in different parts of the country. when i spoke with my mother about the election, she told me that she didn\'t care who i voted for as long as i did in fact vote... and then she snuck in, \"as long as you don\'t vote NDP\". haha.

Yeah there is certainly a big shift depending on where you live. Guess that comes with having such a freaking huge country.
