Anyone know any goalies at risk of losing there jobs to there back ups? I was looking at Auld but he is taken.

Bouhcer(SJ) - I know he won\'t start a lot over Nabokov any time soon.
Halak(MON) - Not sure about the Goalie Situation here.
Lalime(BUF) - Probably won\'t get the job from Miller but don\'t know how many starts he will get either

I have Conklin, but I don\'t know(or am sure) that these Goalies will be starters any time soon, but do you like any of these guys better than Conklin or know will get more starts?

I like conklin most out of those 3, but Halak is interesting if price falls. I was surprised to see him out the other night and he is an excellent goaltender if you can find out when he will play. Conklin though will have the greatest chance as I see osgood tiring over the course of the year, so I would hang onto him.

Funnily enough Labarbara was available in one of my leagues, so I picked him up as a 3rd goalie to use sparingly... some other notables would be macdonald from NYI if dipietro keeps having injury troubles, seeing if you can snipe Khabibulin if Col continues to lose due to goaltending and Roloson as well for possible trade bait to a Colorado-like team as well...

Have a good long hard look at Hiller in Ana. Stellar numbers last year and an oft injured Giggy. If you got room on your bench, you may want to stash Hiller there.
You\'ve already got Conklin if anything should happen to Osgood and with Osgood, that could very well happen at any time.
Halak probably will not replace Price but he should get his share of games, mostly because a young \'tender like Price would likely not thrive as much under a very heavy workload. Also, I think Halak is just too good to ride the pine. Mtl will want to showcase him and maybe make a trade later on this season. Mtl is likely hurting a little having lost Souray and then Streit. To acquire a very good D could go a long ways towards Mtl vying for Lord Stanley\'s hardware this year and after all, this is their 100th year.

Judging by Budaj\'s play, Raycroft will get a sniff, but that\'s a big gamble. Conklin or Halak are much safer bets to play a few games for you as a third goalie and not hang you out to dry.

As a Price owner in 2 diffrent leagues I have Halak to back up in both. Even if Price has a good season I don\'t know if they want to burn him out and play him 70+ games or even in the 60\'s especially if they are playoff contenders.

I will probably stick with Conklin and keep a close eye on Halak.

Yeah, I would stick with Conklin as you\'re probably know how much start he\'ll have this year (probably around 30-35) and he\'ll give you quality one.

But like the other said, put Halak and Hiller on your watch list. They should probably play around 20 games each and should also give you good numbers (well, I\'m less sure about Hiller now after seeing ANH play for a couple of games).

If Gerber loses tomorrow, do you think I should think about starting Conklin over Gerber next week?
